“The Most Dangerous Game,” as commercial literature, has a very exciting and thrilling plot; especially, since the main situation is about hunting, during the whole time of the story, readers get very tense. For instance, when Rainsford is being chased by General Zaroff, the level of intensity gets the maximum, providing suspense for readers. Nevertheless, “The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber” is more experimental and has a more unpredictable scenario than the one from “The Most Dangerous Game.”
