- Hana who is a leading character in this movie a young nurse. At the World War II, she is taking care of the wounded soldiers. Ond day, while patients are transported to avoid the war, Jean, her`s friend is dead due to nazi`s mine. While she crying, she thinks that someone whom she loves is dead. She determines to care the English patient who was burned. He isn`t transported, because He seriously was burned. All that she knows about the patient is that he was burned beyond recognition in a plane crash before being taken to the hospital by a Bedouin tribe and that he claims to be English. Finally Hana lives in the a deserted house with the English patient.
