¿µ¹® ÃÊ·Ï
This study verifies the effect a dramatic play in children`s economic education. This economic education program for children was developed based on a review of the literature. Participants in the program were sixty 5 year-olds from two classes of a kindergartens in Seoul. An experimental group of 30 children participated in the program twice a week, a total of 26 times. An economic concept development test was administered before and after the treatment. The results indicate that the children in the experimental group showed significant growth in their understanding of the concepts of scarcity, exchange value, resource & production, and goods & services but they did not show significant difference in their grasp of momentary value, opportunity cost, and complements & substitutes.
