본문내용 “Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives - Charles Fisher.” From past to nowadays, there are many arguments around scientists that some believe dreams to be mostly nonsense, while others blame it to be indigestion, or worry (Winer). Yet the argument might occur, dreams always stay the same in our memory whether it is vivid, lucid, or vague. Memorable dream means dreams which remains inside our memory after dreaming. Some even say dreams are “hallucinations of the sleeping mind” (Myers 280), which means that dreams are vivid, emotional, and bizarre. Dreams involve the familiar details of our lives, which differs from daydreams. They differ from the meaning as well. According to Addison Wesley’s Longman Dictionary, daydream means thinking about pleasant things so that one forgets what s/he should be doing, and dream means a series of thoughts, pictures, and feelings one has when s/he is asleep. As it is mentioned above, when there are a lot of arguments occurring, it means there are many scientists who research about this extended subject. As this subject is widely spread out, even thought scientists agree on when dreams occur and their important elements, they do differ on what dreams mean.
