Lesson Plan (Using a PPP model)
Level: Pre-intermediate Date: Time: 50 minutes Aims: Students will be able to make sentences containing the target language. Assumed Knowledge: Students already learned about the present and the past.
Students know grammatical terms "past" and "present." Anticipated Problems: Students may not understand some of the words in the teacher`s story and may need explanation or demonstration.
Students are not able to write a long, connected composition. Aids: Picture, handout (on page 3)
Time Stage Procedure Aims Focus 5 minutes Introduce the topic Show a picture of himself when he was 7 years old.
Tell your own story:
This is a picture of me when I was 7 years old. When the school was over, my brother and I used to play in the playground. We used to play hide-and-seek. It was just two of us, but we liked it very much.
