According to Dr. Cho’s report “The Vision and Strategy of Future Cars” in 2007 hybrid car market in Korea there is no domestic hybrid car whereas there are 369 export hybrid cars. In 2009,however, thanks to tax reduction to eco-friendly cars not only increase in export hybrid cars but also, Hyundai’s Avante LPG hybrid car launching hybrid car market in Korea will be larger to 14,000 cars. By 2010 Hyundai’s Sonata gasoline hybrid car will take part in the market so that the market size will be 70,000 cars. After 2010 hybrid car market in Korea will grow average 42.67% per year and around 2015 it will be 400,000 cars in the market and this will take 8.83% in car market in Korea. Also, Korea hybrid car market will be 10% of world hybrid car market by 2015.
