The person I admire most is "Ki-moon Ban", who is the first Korean to become the Secretary-General of U.N, because although he was born poor, he was not discouraged and tried hard to achieve his dream.
He was born in Eum seong of Korea in 1944, although his family lived in poverty, his parents said that "Man should be live honestly and help poor people", so from that time he thought that should help people in the world. Also from when he was a child, he liked English, so used to buy an English magazine "TIME" through his hard earned money and read it so many times. Beside when he was in his high school, he was famous for being a good student, and he especially spoke English very well, and was selected on a program which was "Visit America for Foreign Students (VISTA)", so after that he met J. F Kennedy who was president of the United States in America, and it helped him decide to enter the diplomatic service so he majored in Political Science at Seoul National University. He graduated from university, and took the diplomatic service examination and became a diplomat after constant efforts,
